Webinar: Introduction to Multi-Criteria Assessment Approach

  • 11 December, 2025

  • 11a.m.-12p.m. CEST

  • Online

  • Panteion University Athens

This second webinar in the BIO2REG training series presents the Multi-Criteria Assessment (MCA) framework which was newly developed within the BIO2REG project. The MCA is designed to help regions evaluate their current bioeconomy status and identify areas with the greatest potential for growth.

Developed by Research Institute of Urban Environment & Human Resources, Panteion University Athens in Greece, the MCA framework enables regional stakeholders to quantitatively assess bioeconomy potential while reflecting regional specificities and differing levels of greenhouse gas intensity.

The session will start with an overview presentation of the framework, followed by a real-life use case demonstrating how the assessment can be applied in practice. Participants will then be invited to join an interactive group discussion with several ways to contribute — through Q&A, Menti polls, and other participatory formats.

Continue your learning journey with us and strengthen your region’s capacity to evaluate and advance its bioeconomy potential.
