Across Europe, regions are turning bioeconomy strategies into concrete actions. But implementation looks different in every territory, shaped by local resources, industries, governance structures and community needs.

This joint BIO2REG and BioFairNet webinar brought together regional authorities, practitioners and innovation actors to explore how bioeconomy initiatives are being implemented on the ground. Through regional pitches and territorial case studies, participants discovered practical examples, lessons learned and approaches that support the transition from planning to action.

The session provided space for dialogue and peer learning. Participants were encouraged to share their own experiences and perspectives during the discussion.

This webinar was designed for:

  • Regional and local authorities
  • Managing authorities and development agencies
  • Bioeconomy clusters and industry representatives
  • Researchers and practitioners working on circular value chains
  • Policymakers and innovation actors
  • Anyone supporting the transition of carbon-intensive regions towards more sustainable and circular models
