Germany’s Rhenish mining area and Greece’s Western Macedonia, together with EU projects like BIO2REG, BIOTRANSFORM, and BIO-INSPIRE, showcase how regional strengths, bioeconomy solutions, and community engagement can enable just and sustainable transitions in agriculture, industry, energy, and more.
