The transition towards a circular bioeconomy is crucial for meeting the goals of the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan and for tackling the climate and biodiversity crises.
Following on from COP16 on Biological Diversity and on the same day that delegates will be discussing nature and biodiversity at COP29 on Climate Change in Azerbaijan, the ECESP Leadership Group on Circular Bioeconomy invites you to join the #EUCircularTalks on Circular Bioeconomy Transformation Methodologies.
The BIOTRANSFORM project has developed innovative methodologies and tools to support this transition at regional level. To enhance their impact, we must engage regional managers, experts and stakeholders to share good practices, gather feedback and explore opportunities for replication and scaling.
This webinar aims to:
- Present the methodology and tools to a wider audience for feedback and refinement;
- Inform regional managers about the tools and gather feedback from them on potential applications;
- Identify potential replicator regions and establish a network of interested stakeholders for future collaboration.
The workshop will be structured into three sections, each lasting 20 minutes and covering different aspects of the circular bioeconomy transition:
1. Introduction to BIOTRANSFORM’s methodology and tools;
2. Regional application and feedback;
3. Governance and collaboration for scaling impact.
