The series of BIO2REG’s regional network events will conclude in Athens, Greece, on 15 May 2025. The event will be hosted by the University Research Institute of Urban Environment & Human Resources (UEHR), Panteion University at the Amphitheatre Sakis Karagiorgas II.

The event aims to bring together regional stakeholders, innovators, and policymakers to explore opportunities for advancing a sustainable and circular bioeconomy. Selected experts will speak about specific issues of bioeconomy with a special focus on the region of Western Macedonia.

Participants will be introduced to BIO2REG’s concept of “Bioeconomy model regions”, as well as the project’s tools and resources designed to support regional bioeconomy development.
